Woodend Environmental Centre
This outdoor environmental centre, operated by the District School Board of Niagara, is part of the Woodend Conservation Area, owned by the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority. The 97 acre property includes three buildings: a gatehouse now serving as an office; a former residence used for indoor activities; and an outdoor classroom that is heated by a wood stove throughout the winter.
