Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre
Wye Marsh and its interpretive centre sit on a 3,000 acre wildlife area situated in an environmentally endowed location in southern Georgian Bay. The Friends of Wye Marsh, a non-profit organization, has stewardship responsibilities for this property and a mission to conserve wetlands, woodlands, and wildlife by creating exciting learning opportunities in a natural setting. The programming offered at the marsh compliments classroom learning with experiential lessons, and provides participants with opportunities to interact with, develop caring for, and take action in the places where students live, study, and play.
